Power BI Desktop Update - October 2022

Yet another small update this month - the only two significant changes for report design in Power BI Desktop are these:

Change	Notes
Reversing stack order	You can now reverse the order in which segments of stacked column and bar charts are rendered.
DAX formula bar visibility	You can now use the formula bar in model view to create calculated columns and measures.

It's also yet another month in which nothing has emerged from preview:

Has the list of preview features for Power BI ever been this long before?

Power BI Desktop preview is beginning to resemble a black hole, absorbing changes but never letting anything out. Changing the metaphor ever so slightly, here's hoping that the December update allows some of these poor update animals to escape from their pens!
