The new (preview) Power BI home screen |

The way in which you interact with Power BI when creating and opening reports is about to change, as this blog explains. |
It's not turned on by default, but this new feature will change the way that Power BI behaves when you choose to open a report:
You'll need to tick this box in Power BI Desktop's options dialog box before you can use this feature.
When you tick this box and exit and re-enter Power BI Desktop, you'll see a screen like this when you choose to open a report:
It's not radically different from before!
I presume Microsoft are aiming to make Power BI Desktop behave like all of the other 365 applications. Wise Owl aren't completely convinced that they've succeeded in this!
