Reviewing some of the new task-specific Explore GPTs in ChatGPT

Part one of an eight-part series of blogs

Chat GPT now incorporates a range of mini GPTs dedicated to different tasks. We put a few through their paces, so that you don't have to!

When you load ChatGPT, you'll now see this:

In addition to ChatGPT you can see a range of tools dedicated to specific tasks, called Explore GPTs.

When you click on the Explore GPTs button you can see a range of tools, or GPTs (surely this word isn't going to enter the English language?):

You can choose one of eight categories.

In this blog I thought I'd have a look at a few of them, so you don't have to! These are the ones which caught my eye:

GPT	What it does
Escape the Haunt	This creates an old-style game, where you have to type in text instructions to explore your environment.
Python	Generates code dedicated to Python.
Cartoonize Yourself	This creates a cartoon of any image (but you may have guessed that from the name ...).
Hot Mods	Take an image and apply Snapchat style filters to it.
Coloring Book Hero	Let's you create custom colouring books.
Game Time	Explains the rules of any board or card games.
Cosmic Dream	Generates psychedelic images (does the world need more of these?).
