September 2024 newsletter puzzle - match the band to the venue
Five tribute acts played in 5 different venues on successive days of one week in September. Can you use your skills of logical deduction to work out who played which venue when, and what the capacity of each venue was? The incentive is a chance to win our monthly fifty-pound prize.

Last week I watched 5 different (badly-named) tribute bands play at 5 different venues on different days, with each venue having a different capacity. I probably overdid it though, because now I can only remember these few facts:

Each of the two male bands played to more than 50 people
Coldish Play played 3 days before the act who played at the Hanging Sheep
I went to The Fridge three days earlier in the week than to the 250-capacity venue
The smallest crowd was on Thursday, while the second biggest was at The Puzzled Panda
The female solo acts played to more people in total than did the male bands, and A Dell played to more people than My Donna
Fufu's holds more than twice as many people as The Fridge
Tay-Tay Quick didn't play at the Hanging Sheep or to more than 70 people

Can you help me piece together who played where, and when? You may find the following grid useful:
