A high-level comparison between Power BI and Tableau

The evolutionary tree of Business Intelligence software applications is strewn with familiar names (Business Objects anyone? Crystal Reports?). It's seemed to us for some time now that there are only two big beasts whose extinction will definitely be avoided, partly because their backers have such deep pockets:

Software	Owned by
Power BI	Microsoft
Tableau	Salesforce

So we asked Steve Adams of Viz DJ to demonstrate Tableau to us in our office, which he very kindly (and expertly) did. We've now gone a step further and produced a video with Steve giving a high-level comparison between these two leading BI tools:
