In addition to writing recipes, poems and software for you, AI tools can also create images too. Want to see an anteater in a red hat? We did!

Midjourney is hosted by an independent research lab in San Francisco (where else?) called Midjourney, inc. To access Midjourney you have to sign on to Discord (fortunately I already had an account on this forum). You then join a discussion room:

All of the images requested appear in real time and are publicly available (so if you want privacy, be careful):

If you try to request an image, you'll be taken to the Midjourney subscription page (there is no longer such a thing as a free launch).
I went for the basic plan at $10 a month plus $2 VAT; other more expensive plans are available.
The basic plan gives you this:

To request an image, you type in a prompt after the word /imagine:

It took about 30 seconds to produce these images:

The images are glossy, even if the user interface is a bit clunky.
I can then click on an individual image to adjust it:

If I knew more about graphics, I'm sure I could perfect this!
I loved the quality of graphics generated by Midjourney, but Discord is horrible to use and it's disconcerting knowing that everyone else is viewing what you're doing in real time!
