Results and winner of our October 2023 logic puzzle competition
We received 26 correct entries for this logic puzzle - have a look at the answers to the puzzle (and the winner of this month's prize).

Congratulations to Dave T (he's asked to remain anonymous), whose name was drawn at random out of the 26 correct entries received for last month's puzzle and who wins this month's £50 Amazon prize.

Thanks to David Wilson of LiquidLogic for getting an AI tool to give us "Brooklyn 99 Halloween Heist with Amy dressed as Harry Potter, Charles dressed as Hermione, Jake dressed as Professor McGonagall, Rosa dressed as Ron Weasley and Terry Dressed as Snape." I'm not sure this is quite what was requested!

Here are the answers to this puzzle:

A couple of people protested that the puzzle had either no correct answers or two possible ones, but I was able in each case to defend it and point out the clue that people had missed.

Our youngest daughter was impressed that Charles won nothing, Jake got the best prize and Terry got an edible one, as would happen in Brooklyn 99. This was completely coincindental!
