When you're using Power Automate (or any other 365 cloud service), you have the potential to get at lots of things stored in the cloud. Microsoft Graph is the thing which lets you get access to these.

Microsoft Graph lets you connect to your SharePoint lists, OneDrive files, Outlook emails and Excel workbooks ... and much, much more.

I've deliberately put this in a non-techie way. Here's the Microsoft version of this diagram:

Why is it called Microsoft Graph? Perhaps because in maths "graph theory" lets you examine how entities are related to each other, but I still think it's a terrible and misleading name (and those with very long memories will remember that MS Graph used to do what the name suggested in applications like PowerPoint and Word!).
