Chastened by my experience of using Copilot within Excel, I thought I'd switch to Outlook.

It took me a while to realise that this was how to run Copilot within Outlook 365.

Providing you're using a standard work email account you can ask questions like this:

I thought I'd ask Copilot just to summarise my unread emails.

Here is the start of the response:

This confirms what I thought - I keep getting spam emails from Microsoft about Viva on this account.

For comparison, here's what my inbox looks like:

Copilot took about 10 seconds to summarise my unread emails, but for this simple instance I could probably do it in 2.

So I thought I'd try to create an email summarising a workbook:

Surely this is specific enough?

However, I got this back:

What am I doing wrong? This file absolutely does exist.

Ok, let's lower that bar a bit:

I'm going cycling there this weekend - maybe I could email myself the weather forecast?

This is what I got:

Seriously?

And with that i have completely lost patience with the Copilot app!
