The Power BI Core Visuals Vision Board
A new single page summarising planned improvements to visuals and other display items in Power BI Desktop

Curious about what new features are being planned for Power BI Desktop visuals? There's now a single page resource called the Core Visuals Vision Board:

Click on any type of visual on the left to see improvements in the pipeline on the right.

To give one example, suppose that you've always thought that visuals should have a footer as well as a header. Microsoft may agree with you:

Choose these options, for example, to see what may be coming to the bottom of visuals soon.

You can then see ideas that people have suggested, and their status:

If you click on Fabric ideas you can see a link back to the original user group suggestions.

Probably the most interesting area is New visuals:

Some exciting ideas for new advanced visuals!

What you'll often see is the word Pending next to a change, which could mean anything from "Being released next month" to "We think this could be a good idea somewhere down the line".
