Possible Christmas presents for the nerd in your life for 2024 |
---|
In what is becoming a Christmas tradition, here are a few suggestions for things to buy the nerd in your life (you?) for Christmas this year. |
In this blog
In what is becoming something of a Wise Owl newsletter tradition (well, we did it last year too) here are some tongue-in-cheek present ideas for the nerd who has everything.
Need a quicker way to cut, copy and paste? Try this specialised miniature keyboard:
It seems that you can customise what the keys do too!
Just plug this into a spare USB port to boost your productivity!
This one's for Dave at Wise Owl - a special bag to hold all the cables lying around on your desk that you'll never use:
Apparently this comes in a range of colours, but sadly not of profanity.
At first glance this miniature desktop tidying tool looks like a normal Henry Hoover, until you realise that it is 3.7 centimetres wide and 5 centimetres high:
Astonishingly this comes with a crevice tool and an angled attachment tool.
Be warned that you will also need to buy 3 AA batteries to make this work, however.
I think I may have mentioned another version of this Excel short-cut key mug in a previous newsletter, but can't find this anywhere:
For when you can't quite remember the key combination to press ...
Tired of coming back from the toilet to find the cup of coffee your colleague has made you has gone cold? Invest in this mug warmer:
This has 3 temperature settings apparently: 55, 65 and 75 degrees Centigrade.
Still stuck for something to buy? I'm sure we could come up with a Wise Owl training course gift voucher if pressed! And with that, a very happy Christmas to all of our readers!
