This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
If you haven't already got one, create a Windows Forms project (using Visual C#, obviously) called wiseowl. Right-click on your project in Solution Explorer to add an existing item, and choose the file frmToDoList.cs in the above folder.
Make this the default form in Program.cs. When you run your application, you should see a form like this:
You can use this form to add a task.
Create a class called Task to contain each task (it'll need to have two properties - one for the task description, and one for the date when it should be completed).
Add code to your form so that:
when you click on the first button it adds a new object of type Task to a list;
when you click on the second button, it shows the current task list in the order in which they were added.
Here's what the second button might show:
Your code should create a message listing all of the tasks, and show this on screen.
If you've got this working and still got extra time, you could write your to-do list to a text file, so you don't lose it every time you shut the form down ...
