How to create an account for our private website

This page shows why you might want to create an account on our website and explains how to do this.

Reasons to create an account

You can use a private account on our website as follows (the list is growing all the time!):

Benefit	What it lets you do
See your courses	See a list of all the courses that you've attended with us, and also details of any that you've booked on behalf of other people.
Book courses	Use our online booking form to book places on courses.
View test results	Save the results of any skills tests that you've done with us for future reference.
Post questions	Add posts to virtually any page of our website (we moderate these to check that they are of general interest).
Get our newsletter	Sign up for our monthly email newsletter (we won't contact you for any other reason).

Creating an account

To create an account with us, first click on this button at the top right of our website:

Click on this icon to start creating an account.

You can now click on this link to register as a user:

Click on this link to register as a new user.

You can now fill in our registration form:

Your user name must be between 4 and 12 characters, and can not have already been taken. You will get an error message if you use a name which is already in use.

You will then see this message:

When you get your confirmation email though, click on the link it contains and you'll be set up with your shiny new Wise Owl account!

Within a very short time (typically less than a minute) you should have an email in your inbox. Remember to check for spam in your junk folder! You can click on this link to confirm your identity.

You can then click on the same icon to log in at any time:

You should now be able to sign in using your email address and password.

We have an occasional problem with our authentication process, which means that some valid accounts are not being confirmed at this point. If you run into any problems, please let us know and we'll take you through the process manually.
