After setting up a new Power Automate Flow, I encountered a strange issue. Despite being set to run on Mondays, it unexpectedly ran after saving.
The flow should only run on Mondays, so why did it run on a Friday?
When using a time based trigger, there is property called Start Time. If left blank this defaults to the current date and time causing the flow to run immediately.
This makes the Preview feel a little misleading. Set Start Time to the specific day the flow should first run.
After setting the On These Days and At These Hours properties to the desired time, I assumed it would run at that time. Instead you must also set the Start Time property!
