Use the RELATED function in DAX to create calculated columns which reference values in other tables.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file .

Open the Music Tours - Related.pbix file in the folder shown above.

Add a calculated column called Artist age at tour start to the Tour table. This column should subtract the value of the Year formed column in the Artist table from the Start year column in the Tour table and add 1 to the result.

Add a column called Artist age at tour end to the Tour table. This column should calculate the difference between the Year formed and the End year columns and add 1 to the result.

Display the results in a visual of your choice.

The result represents the age of the band rather than the members.

Add a calculated column called Years between tour end and band break up to the Tour table. This should calculate the difference between the Year disbanded column in the Artist table and the End year column in the Tour table.
