Load a CSV file of running data and show a target line against it

This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file .

Create a new Power BI report, and load the running data from the CSV file in the above folder:

The file contains training data for a Wise Owl for the Manchester Marathon in April 2020. As for so many other things, COVID had other plans for Shaun.

Create a line chart showing distance run by month:

Here are some extra things you'll need to do:

You'll need to sort the month name by the month number column to get the months to appear in the correct chronological order.
You will need to add a Y axis constant line to show the initial target of 45 km per month.

Save this report as Oh COVID, then close it down.

The months are not sorted chronologically because Nov and Dec are reported after March. Plus, how to add the Y-axis constant line of 45 km? Thanks.

Thanks - the months are now correct.

As to the Y Constant line: just click on the visual to select it. Alongside the data and formatting icons above the visualisations panel, a third anlaytics icon will appear (looks like an angry PacMan). Click on this and add in the Y-Constant line.
