When you format columns in your data model, you'll often find you want to apply the same format to multiple columns.
Both the Box Office Dollars and the Budget Dollars need to be formatted in the same way.
Rather than formatting columns one at a time via the ribbon, you can select multiple columns and format them at the same time. Start by choosing the Model view.
This view allows you to select more than one item in your model at a time.
Hold down Ctrl and select the columns you want to format in the Data pane.
Both the Box Office Dollars and Budget Dollars columns have been selected here.
Navigate to the Formatting section of the Properties pane and set the formatting.
Any formats chosen are applied to selected columns simultaneously.
