When you're working in Visual Studio, you can rearrange the layout of the windows to suit your preferences. It is, however, quite easy to mess this up, as evidenced by the screenshot below:
This was not a good choice - I just want everything back the way it was!
You can quickly put every window back in its original position by choosing Window | Reset Window Layout from the Visual Studio menu:
Every application should have an option as useful as this.
Choosing the option shown above places all the windows back in their default configuration.
Much better!
If Visual Studio closes some of the windows you had open (such as the Report Data and Properties windows), you can find them again in the View menu.
