Write a query to return the following fields from the Track table, sorted with the most recently released track at the top of the list.
I must be showing my age as I don't recognise any of these!
Add a WHERE clause to the query so that it only returns tracks which were released as singles on the 24th of March 2022. Don't forget to wrap the date in single quotes and write it in a format that SQL Server will recognise.
The five results that you should see (although I still don't recognise any of them).
Perhaps picking a better date range will help this aged author to recognise some of the singles. Write another query in the same script which shows singles released before the 1st of January 2000.
I know at least two of these!
Maybe choosing a specific decade will make the results more interesting. Add a query to return the singles released in your favourite musical decade. For example, to pick singles from the 80s you need to find tracks whose release date is between the 1st of January 1980 and the 31st of December 1989.
Finally, modify the query so that it returns only the singles which reached number 1 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in the decade you've chosen.
I may not like them, but I do recognise them!
Save the script as Oldies but Goodies.sql and close it.
