If you don't have a copy of the Music_01 database, follow the instructions at the following link to create it: www.wiseowl.co.uk/sql/exercises/standard/using-sql-server/5257/
Create a new query and add a USE statement to use the Music_01 database.
Write a SELECT statement to return the columns shown in the image below from the Artist table:
The first few results you should see when you execute the query.
Remember that you'll get more help if you complete the FROM clause first, then add the SELECT list above it.
Create aliases for the columns so that their names appear as shown in the image below:
Execute the query again to see the updated column names.
If your alias contains a space you'll need to enclose it in either square brackets, single quotes or double quotes.
Add an ORDER BY clause to the query so that the artists appear in descending order of the year they were formed.
The most recently formed artists should appear at the top of the results when you execute the query.
Extend the ORDER BY clause so that if more than one artist was formed in the same year they appear in alphabetic order of name.
Some of the results you should see when you execute the query.
Save the query as Assorted Artists.sql and then close it.
