Use subqueries in SQL to return a list of longer than average music albums.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file . If you want to download the SQL Server database that this yields:

Go into SQL Server Management Studio;
Open the SQL file you've just unzipped (you can press CTRL + O to do this); then
Execute this script.

This will generate the database that you'll need to use in order to do this exercise (remember to refresh your list of databases to see it!). Note that any files provided are only to be used for exercises published on this website, and may not be reused or distributed in any form without the prior written permission of Wise Owl.

Write a query to select rows from the Tour table where the Attendance is greater than average. Sort the results in ascending order of Attendance.

Add a column which calculates the difference between each tour's attendance and the average of tour attendance.

You'll need to include a subquery in the SELECT list to get these results.

Write a query to calculate the total length in seconds of albums in the Album table.

Use a subquery to return the albums which are longer than average, but by no more than 60 seconds. Include a column which shows how much longer than the average each album is and sort the results in descending order of length.
