If you don't have a copy of the Music_01 database, follow the instructions at the following link to create it: www.wiseowl.co.uk/sql/exercises/standard/using-sql-server/5257/
In a new script, write a query to return every column from the Show table where the Cancellation_reason column mentions covid.
Some of the results you should see.
Use the SELECT INTO syntax to store the results of the query in a temporary table called #CovidCancellations.
You can find the table in the tempdb database.
If you execute the script again, you'll receive an error because the table already exists. Add an instruction to drop the #CovidCancellations table if it exists at the start of the script.
Make sure this message doesn't appear when you run the script multiple times.
Write a SELECT statement using the temporary table to give the result shown below:
You can use the CONCAT and COUNT functions to create this result.
Write another SELECT statement which joins the temporary table to the Venue table. Group the rows by venue and count how many shows were cancelled at each. Present the results in descending order of the count of shows.
The first few results you should see.
Write another SELECT statement which joins the temporary table to the Tour and Artist tables. Apply grouping and display the top three artists with the most shows.
The three artists most affected by COVID.
Save the script as COVID Cancellations.sql and then close it.
