Use a script to create the Wise Owl Music database which you can then use to complete a range of other exercises.

This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file .

In SQL Server Management Studio, choose to open a file.

Choose this option from the File menu, or just press Ctrl + O

Choose to open the file called Create Music_01 Database.sql.

Choose to open this file.

You should now be looking at a script which will create a database.

Choose to execute the script.

Either click this tool, choose Query | Execute from the menu, or press F5 to execute the script.

It may take a few seconds for the script to run but, all being well, you should finally see the following message:

Wait until you see this message.

After receiving the message shown above, you can refresh the Databases folder in the Object Explorer window.

Select the Databases folder and click Refresh to update the list.

You can now close the script and start using the Wise Owl Music database!
