If you're going to be recording or writing macros in VBA, you'll probably need your Developer tab visible on your ribbon:
The Excel Developer tab.
If you can't see this, here's how to show it. First choose to customise your ribbon:
Right-click anywhere at all on your ribbon and choose this option.
Now tick this box and select OK;
Tick the box to show the relevant tab.
Your Developer tab should now appear within Excel (and stay visible even when you exit Excel and re-enter it).
