Google's incredible NotebookLM tool will generate a podcast to summarise any data source

Another month, another breathtakingly good AI tool. NotebookLM from Google can take any data source and turn it into a podcast. We created a 10 minute "audio overview" summarising our website offering, and then (for light relief) a 25 minute podcast summarising the rules of survival from the film Zombieland. The results are astonishing, although the American accents grate a bit (I've included some thoughts on how you could change these to British). Beware: you'll immediately want to sign up for a free trial to create your own podcast!

A new one-day course on prompt engineering using AI tools

We've had a few enquiries from clients who want to encourage their staff to use AI tools like Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT more, but who can't afford for them to spend two days out of the office attending our AI tools course. We've therefore this month released a new one-day Prompt engineering in AI course, which will cover:

Choosing an AI tool to use
How to write prompts to get the best results out of your AI friend
Using variables and placeholders in your prompts
Other prompting techniques (such as one-shot, few-shot and chain of thought prompts)
The different inputs and outputs available to you
Specific tips for using Copilot
An understanding of how AI works
If time allows, a look at how to use AI tools to organise your home life
If time allows, an overview of generating images in AI tools
