With every new monthly update that come out we eagerly look to see if on-object interaction has been released; the answer is still no. However, there are some whizzy new features in the November 2023 Power BI update nonetheless:

Feature	Status	Notes
Button slicer	Preview, turned on by default	Similar to the Chiclet slicer custom visual, this allows you to display images on a slicer and apply lots of formatting.
Reference labels for cards	Preview, turned on by default	This slightly over-the-top feature allows you to show additional statistics (each complete with its own label) on a card.
DAX query view	Preview	A fourth button on the left side of any Power BI report will let you write DAX queries to interrogate your data's semantic model.

There are also a couple of preview outings for Copilot, allowng you to generate synonyms for Q + A visuals and to generate text for smart narrative visuals, but these are still firmly in preview.
